Our story

Kyo-to. A traditional kaiseki restaurant nestled in the heart of the central business district of Makati City.

Named after the former imperial capital and and cultural heart of Japan, Kyo-to aspires to provides its guests the highest

expression of japanese gastronomy, Kaiseki. Most would define Kaiseki as an elegant multiple course meal, served with

the best seasonal ingredients. But the experience is much more than what is served on the plate. Derived from the austere

menu of the tea ceremony, Kaiseki has evolved into the perfect reflection of the philosophical soul of Japan. Every sight

and sound is a balm from the rush of everyday life, soothing guests into a state of serenity and calm. Every morsel is a

testament to a sublime understanding of taste, texture and the craft of Japanese gastronomy.

Cuisine
